Filing a claim with the VA doesn’t have to be intimidating or scary. The Veterans Assistance Commission of Washington County has highly trained VSO’s that will walk you through every step of the way.
Step 1: Print our intake packet and fill it out entirely. (We can get you a copy if you don’t have a printer, just let us know.)
Step 2: Call or email us and set up a time to talk about next steps and how it will work.
Step 3: Bring your DD-214 with you to the meeting.
Step 4: That’s it!
That’s all we need to get started! There will be some paperwork we will need, along with civilian medical records, but we will discuss that in our meeting.
