Joint Safety Commission

JOINT SAFETY COMMITTEE

                        A Joint Safety Committee consisting of representatives of the Union and representatives of the employer has been established to review the safety rules. It meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month on a quarterly basis three (3) times a year, or as frequently as required by the County’s insurance carrier. The joint safety committee shall meet during regular working hours, provided that any ambulance personnel or any other position requiring emergency response shall respond to all calls received irrespective of whether the joint safety committee is meeting and no telecommunicator will be removed from the radio switchboard for the purposes of the joint safety committee meetings.
